I deliver Community Climate Coaching (CCC) 2 day workshops and 6 month programmes. I will work with partners in Sussex, south east and south west England where funding is needed for these programmes. The CCC training supports communities in planning and progressing their climate action and resilience initiatives.
The focus is on strengthening climate resilience and community wellbeing.
These programmes can be delivered elsewhere in the UK through the Permaculture Association (Britain). They have been delivered in 2024 in partnership with Climate Action Leeds, SCCAN (the Scottish Communities Climate Action Network) and Shift Bristol, and are being delivered in Ireland by Cultivate.
The outcomes from the training
You are supported to:
- develop personal and team resilience and capacity to undertake this work;
- develop a 6 phase community engagement pathway for local climate action;
- learn to use a toolkit of community engagement methods and resources to generate your local Climate Action & Resilience Plan (or Map);
- strengthen and develop your local climate action networks and relationships.
A free online Introduction to Community Climate Coaches course is available through the Permaculture Association (Britain).
